2013 British & Irish Lions Tour of Australia

We’ve waited 12 long years but finally Australia can rejoice as one of the most anticipated tours in rugby history has arrived. The British & Irish Lions return to our shores for a series that has been 12 years in the making, bringing with them an army of scarlet fans and an all-star squad featuring the best of the best from Europe’s Six Nations.

The tourists will play nine matches, including three Tests against the Wallabies, and will be hungry to revenge the hurt of 2001. FOX SPORTS will be the only destination to see every tour match LIVE and in HIGH DEFINITION, kicking off when the Lions converge on Perth to face the Western Force on June 5. Besides the blockbuster three-Test series against the Wallabies, the northern hemisphere super-squad will face each of the Australian Super Rugby franchises, as well as a Combined Country outfit during their month-long visit. The tour reaches its crescendo with three huge battles between the Wallabies and Lions, kicking off in Brisbane on June 22 before continuing on to Melbourne (June 29) and Sydney (July 6) for the second and third Tests.
