Remote Record

Can't get home in time for the start of your show? Remote record lets you set your MyStar to record when you're out and about.

You can search for your favourite show, record to your Planner at home and even set a Series Link*, through our Online TV Guide or AUSTAR Guide mobile app.

Remote Record with the Online TV Guide

  • Simply head to tvguide.austar.com.au, and click the show you want to record.
  • Click the [Record} button on the show highlight box
  • Login using your My Account Login ID (if you don't have one you can get one here)
  • You're done – easy as that! If Series Link is available for the program, you'll be prompted to see if you want to record the whole series. Check the box and you're away!
 

Remote Record with the AUSTAR Guide App

With the AUSTAR Guide for Mobile app, you can:

  • Get listings for the next 7 days for every channel on AUSTAR and free-to-air TV.
  • Search for programs by keyword.
  • Schedule a recording - or better still, Series Link* it - to your MyStar.

Log In for More Features

You’ll need a My Account Login ID to be able to remote record to your MyStar. If you don’t already have one, it’s simple and free to register, and you can use the same Login ID and password to manage your account online and watch AUSTAR AnyWhere®, our online TV service.
