You'll be pleased to know you can subscribe to AUSTAR with no worries. You see:

  • We care. Lose your job in the downturn - leave with no penalty.
  • It's less than $10 a week. If life changes - drop back to our Starter Pack. It will cost less than $10 a week and you'll still get 36 inspiring channels.
  • We can change with you. Change your package every month if need be
  • You call the shots. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments or pay for it all now - it's your choice.

Getting AUSTAR 

  • If you live in a block of flats the process of getting AUSTAR can be a little different - best call us on 132 342.
     
  • We use a satellite service so just because you live in a black spot area for free-to-air TV – it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t be able to get AUSTAR.
Installation 

  • Our standard residential installation comes professionally installed and costs $99.95. So no you won't need to hike yourself on to the roof to put up your dish or spend hours trying to work out which lead goes where. We find it saves many an argument!
     
  • If you live in a remote area that is not covered by our installation network - don't worry you can still get AUSTAR. We'll just send you the equipment so you can get a local installer to help you out - some additional costs may apply.

Moving 


  • Moving or plan to move? No worries your AUSTAR subscription can move with you. If you move within an AUSTAR area we will simply transfer your service to your new house for a $24.95 fee. If you move to a Foxtel area you can get out of your AUSTAR contract without penalty.

Equipment 


  • If your AUSTAR equipment breaks or is faulty - we'll replace it for free. Of course this isn't the case if you haven't looked after your box properly. Don't worry we'll give you a box safety card so you know how to take good care of it.
     
  • Your first standard box is included with your AUSTAR subscription, so no need to worry about having to add a box cost to your AUSTAR subscription fees. If you want to add more boxes or upgrade to our premium box MyStar – that will cost a little more though.
